    Reminds me of an incident with the Cdn military about 15 years ago when a gay member came out of the closet and was subsequently threatened with dismissal on the grounds of being a security threat by way on blackmail; that argument went over like a lead balloon since it was pointed out that a gay might only be subject to blackmail if he/she wished to remain in the closet.
