Whatever the plan is, with that amount of money being infused into Pakistani NGOs / govt, facilitating oversight will be key. A practical understanding of how aid is used / misused in these environments, insight on the MO of HCN organizations, coupled with plenty of field experience would be perquisites for a senior-level administrator, right?

Reference the following article by Laura Rozen, “Special Representative to Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke has appointed Mia Farrow's 21 year old son as his team's liaison to non-governmental organizations working in Pakistan, humanitarian group officials tell POLITICO.”

I’m not saying the kid doesn’t have compelling experience, but is it the right kind of experience given the situation?
